Biography: Dr. Michelle Pelcovitz completed her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at Barnard College at Columbia University and earned her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from St. John's University, where she received research and clinical training in evidence-based interventions for children, adolescents and adults. Dr. Pelcovitz has contributed multiple publications and presentations on clinical research. She completed her clinical internship training at the NYU Child Study Center and Bellevue Hospital Center. Dr. Pelcovitz has trained in multiple clinical settings, including inpatient units, emergency rooms, partial hospitalization, day treatment, and outpatient psychotherapy, and additionally has trained in a number of specialized treatments, such as trauma-focused CBT (TF-CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and parent-child interaction therapy (PCIT). Biography: Dr. Antler graduated from Brown University, where she graduated magna cum laude with a B.A. in history. After college, she joined Teach for America, and taught elementary school in the Mississippi Delta for two years. In addition to her teaching experience in Mississippi, she also taught kindergarten at a public charter school in Brooklyn for several years. Biography: Dr. Soudabeh Givrad is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in both adult psychiatry and child and adolescent psychiatry. She did her adult psychiatry residency training at Yale University, and then completed her child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship at Columbia and Cornell Universities.She has expertise in treating psychiatric disorders during pregnancy and the postpartum period, and works with families of infants and young children inparent-infant psychotherapy when families face issues with attachment, bonding, medical traumas, or other regulatory disorders of infancy and early childhood. In psychotherapy, Dr. Givrad primarily has a psychodynamic approach, however, she draws on her knowledge of other modalities of psychotherapy such as CBT, DBT, and IPT. She believes in the importance of working collaboratively with patients, and coming up with a treatment plan that meets the patient's goals.Before joining Weill Cornell Medicine, Dr. Givrad was on the faculty at Stanford University where she developed perinatal and infant psychiatry programs at Stanford Children's Health/Lucile Packard Children's Hospital. Dr. Simon received her medical degree from Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. She completed her general psychiatry residency at Mount Sinai Beth Israel and her child and adolescent psychiatry training at the NYP Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Residency Training Program, where she served as Chief Resident of the Weill Cornell Site. Dr. Simon supervises preschool evaluations for second-year child and adolescent psychiatry residents and runs the Infant Psychiatry seminar for first-year child and adolescent psychiatry residents. Dr. Simon also participates in the Weill Cornell Medicine faculty practice, where she sees children, adolescents, and adults. Dr. Simon's academic interests include maternal-infant psychiatry, anxiety disorders, ADHD, and psychosomatic medicine.

Dr. Boas then went on to his internship and residency at the Massachusetts General Hospital and McLean Hospital Adult Psychiatry Residency Program where he served as the McLean Hospital Chief Resident. At MGH/McLean, he completed the Clinician Educator Program as well as the Program in Psychodynamics. Additionally, he completed the Fellowship in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy through the Boston Psychoanalytic Society and Institute and trained in Mentalization-Based Treatment through the Borderline Personality Disorder Training Institute at McLean Hospital. His academic work is focused on improving psychiatric education as well as physician well-being.

Biography: Dr. Francis Lee obtained his M.D. and Ph.D. from the University of Michigan, followed by psychiatry residency training at the Payne Whitney Clinic of Weill Cornell Medicine. He completed further postdoctoral training in molecular neuroscience at the Skirball Institute of New York University and the University of California, San Francisco.In addition to his leadership roles, Dr. Lee directs the Lee Lab at Weill Cornell Medicine, a laboratory whose main area of research is in basic molecular and neural mechanisms that are relevant to neuropsychiatric disorders. In particular, his research is focused on using genetic models to delineate the role of growth factors, such as BDNF, in complex behaviors related to the pathophysiology and treatment of affective disorders.
