Biography: Dr. George Toth, a board-certified family medicine specialist, completed his residency at the University of Florida in 2003. Dr. Toth earned his medical degree, cum laude, from Semmelweis Medical University in Hungary in 1999 and holds advanced degrees in education and engineering from the University of Toronto and the University of Waterloo, respectively. He has contributed to medical research with publications in the Journal of Andrology and presentations at conferences such as the American Society of Andrology. Recognized with accolades such as the NCQA Diabetes Excellence Award, he has also served as an associate professor at the University of South Florida. Before joining us in 2024, Dr. Toth held leadership roles, including assistant chief medical officer for the U.S. Army and chief of medicine at the El Paso VA Health Care System. Specializing in chronic disease management, men's health, and geriatric care, emphasizing prevention and holistic, personalized treatment, Dr. Toth chose medicine to improve lives through compassionate care. He has volunteered at the Virginia B. Andes Community Clinic and Sheppard's Hope, and in his free time enjoys traveling and salsa dancing.

Biography: Dr. Laartz received his undergraduate degree and a master's degree from Northwestern University where he was a National Merit Scholar. He graduated in the highest quartile of his medical school class at the University of Iowa in 1998. During medical school he was one of the leaders of an educational group called the Medical Student Ambassador Program. In 2002, he moved to Tampa and completed a residency in Internal Medicine and a fellowship in Infectious Diseases at the University of South Florida. Always a leader, he was a member of the Housestaff Committee and was Chief Fellow for the Division of Infectious Diseases and Tropical Medicine in 2002-2003. In 2003, Dr. Laartz opened the doors of a private practice in Infectious Diseases, soon to be called West Coast Infectious Diseases and holds a title of Affiliate Assistant Professor in the Division of Infectious Diseases at USF. He also has been active as a member of the Ryan White Council, Six Sigma Quality Programs, the Morton Plant Physician Leadership Training and the Northwestern University Alumni Admission Council.
