Care Philosophy: Dr. Christensen founded the Ankle & Foot Clinic of Everett in 1988. He has specialized in complex reconstructive foot and ankle surgery for 34 years. He is dedicated to helping patients with challenging foot ankle & lower leg problems. He obtained a bachelors degree with honors in biology from Northeastern University in Boston in 1979 and graduated from the California College of Podiatric Medicine in 1983. He received his training in Reconstructive Foot & Ankle Surgery at the Swedish Podiatric Surgical Residency Program in Seattle in 1985. Dr. Christensen is appointed to the medical staff at Swedish Medical Center in Seattle and Providence Regional Medical Center - Everett. He has presented over 460 regional, national, and international lectures and written over 70 papers and book chapters on foot & ankle surgery. Dr. Christensen is founder and director of the Northwest Surgical Biomechanics Laboratory at Swedish Medical Center. This laboratory is dedicated to furthering the understanding of foot & ankle deformities, conditions, and optimizing treatment methods. Since its inception in 1993, the laboratory has won numerous awards via various presentations at national meetings and journal publications. He is Past Chairman of Podiatric Surgery Division, Department of Orthopedics at Swedish Medical Center served on the Board of Directors for the American College of Foot & Ankle Surgeons, and is current Research Director for The International Foot & Ankle Foundation for Research & Education. Dr. Christensen is nationally recognized for his extensive experience in teaching advanced surgical techniques. He has chaired and taught over 250 surgical courses over the years to established surgeons and surgical residents across the country. Most of the courses have focused on: Arthroscopy, Total Ankle Replacement, Foot & Ankle Trauma, and Ankle Reconstruction.

Care Philosophy: Tanya Wilke, MD, is a family practitioner who specializes in obstetrics and women?s health. She is dedicated to establishing long-term relationships with whole families and partnering with her patients to improve the quality of their lives. Dr. Wilke was the chief resident at Southwest Washington Medical Center. There, she also served on the Family Medicine and Obstetrics and Gynecology committees. Dr. Wilke is a member of the American Medical Association, the American Academy of Family Physicians and the Washington Academy of Family Physicians. During her free time, Dr. Wilke enjoys gardening, hiking and kayaking.
