Biography: I am a partner in the Fondren Orthopaedic Group. I am a board certified orthopaedic surgeon dedicated to providing exceptional orthopaedic foot and ankle care in the Houston area for the past 15 years. My orthopedic practice specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of foot and ankle problems. In preparation for this I have completed a 5 year orthopedic residency and additional year in foot and ankle fellowship training. This provided the opportunity for a broad based training and experience in the diagnosis and management (nonoperative and operative) of orthopedic and foot and ankle problems. As an experienced physician with more than 15 years of foot and ankle specialization in orthopaedics, I attempt to take a highly interactive approach to caring for my patients. With each treatment options, I present a realistic outlook on the results we can achieve. I'll also be frank about any risks that might be involved. If a non-surgical option is available, I'll explain that avenue in depth. Biography: T. Bradley Edwards, M.D., specializes in disorders of the shoulder and orthopedic surgery.Dr. Edwards attended Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge. After three years of undergraduate education, Dr. Edwards pursued a Medical Doctorate from LSU School of Medicine in New Orleans, where he was a member of Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. He remained at LSU-New Orleans for his Orthopedic Residency, where he excelled in clinical and basic science research.Dr. Edwards completed a one year Shoulder Surgery and Sports Medicine Fellowship in Lyon, France with Dr. Gilles Walch, while serving as the Clinical Orthopedic Society Traveling Fellow. He was in practice for two years at the Minneapolis Sports Medicine Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota where he served as the Chief Shoulder Surgeon and Director of Research before moving to Houston.Dr. Edwards specializes in disorders of the shoulder including those treated with open and arthroscopic surgery. He is very active in clinical and scientific research. Dr. Edwards has published more than 100 scientific articles and ten book chapters on topics such as rotator cuff problems, shoulder instability, and shoulder replacement. He has authored a textbook on shoulder replacement.
