Biography: Jeffrey Rayborn, MD is a graduate of The Ohio State University and the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. He completed his residency in Family Practice and his fellowship in Sports Medicine at Bethesda North Hospital. Dr. Rayborn joined Premier Orthopedics in 2009. Dr. Rayborn's practice focuses on non-operative orthopaedic care for adolescents and adults, and primary care sports medicine. Dr. Rayborn also employs the use of musculoskeletal ultrasound in the evaluation of orthopaedic conditions, as well as in the placement of needles to support the aspiration or injection of joints such as the shoulder, elbow, hip, and knee. The use of musculoskeletal ultrasound has been shown to enhance patient management and outcomes in both general orthopaedic and sports medicine populations. Dr. Rayborn also offers Platelet Rich Plasma Injections (PRP) when medically appropriate. Dr. Rayborn is actively engaged in the sports medicine community. He currently serves as the Medical Director for Upper Valley Sports Medicine Center and is also the team physician at Tipp City High School. Dr. Rayborn is a member of the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine and the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine. He maintains office hours at Miami Valley Hospital North in Englewood and the Hyatt Center in Tipp City. Biography: Christian E. Koch, MD is a graduate of University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. He completed the St. Elizabeth Family Practice Residency at Franciscan Medical Center (OH). Dr. Koch is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and is board certified in family medicine. Biography: Malcolm Steiner, MD is a 1977 University of Michigan graduate, and he earned his medical degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 1981. He completed his internal medicine residency at the University of Cincinnati in 1984. He completed his endocrinology and metabolism from George Washington University in 1986, which is the same year he started practicing medicine. Dr. Steiner is the founder and medical director of the Diabetes Wellness Center of Atrium Medical Center (Atrium). He also oversees the inpatient Glycemic Control Team at the hospital. He also is the founder and medical director of the Middletown Osteoporosis Center. With an active interest in thyroid disorders, including nodules, cancer, hyperthyroidism and hypothyroidism, Dr. Steiner performs several hundred Ultrasound Guided Fine Needle Aspiration thyroid biopsies of thyroid masses each year. He is certified to treat thyroid cancer and hyperthyroidism and to administer I 131. Dr. Steiner is a fellow of the American College of Endocrinology, and he is a member of The Endocrine Society and The American Diabetes Association. He is a member of the Butler County Medical Society, and previously served as president, vice president and treasurer. He has been on the medical executive committees of various local hospitals, including Atrium, for the last 20 years. He also serves on various quality control committees. Dr. Steiner is board certified in Endocrinology. Dr. Steiner is accepting new patients and continues to practice endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism. Biography: Jennifer M. Smail, MDs scope of surgical practice includes complex spine surgery, cervical disorders, degenerative spine, spinal deformity, trauma, tumor, infection and minimally invasive spine surgery. Dr. Smail is a graduate of the University of Alabama in Huntsville and the University of Alabama School of Medicine. She completed her Orthopaedic residency at the University of Cincinnati and her spine surgery fellowship at the University of Louisville.

Biography: Leo Lasala, MD, received his medical degree at Far Eastern University, NRMF (Philippines), and completed his residency at Clinton Memorial Hospital at the University of Cincinnati. Dr. Lasala is board certified in family medicine.
