Dr Yang's clinical interests focus on the use of radiotherapy techniques such as intensity modulated radiation therapy (IMRT) and image-guided radiation therapy (IGRT) to treat patients with head/neck and endocrine cancers.

Care Philosophy: Dr Sepideh Mokhtari is an Assistant Member in the Department of Neuro-Oncology at Moffitt Cancer Center. Dr Mokhtari received her medical degree from Texas A&M College of Medicine in Temple, TX. She completed a Neurology Residency at Houston Methodist Hospital, where she also served as Chief Resident. She most recently completed a Neuro-Oncology Fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Dr Mokhtari's clinical interests are primarily in brain tumors and neurologic complications of cancer. Her research focus is neurologic complications of immunotherapy and paraneoplastic syndromes.

Dr Chavez earned his MD from the Medical School at the Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia in Lima, Peru. He completed his residency in Hematology at Hospital Edgardo Rebagliati Martins/Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia in Lima, Peru. He did his Internal Medicine training at the State University of New York in Buffalo, New York and completed his Medical Oncology training at the University of South Florida/Moffitt Cancer Center. Dr Chavez is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology.
