Biography: Steven E. Rosenberg, MD, is an expert in the field of strabismus and pediatric ophthalmology. He is the Anne S. Cohen Endowed Professor of Pediatric Ophthalmology and the Chief of Columbia's Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus division. Dr. Rosenberg has more than 25 years of experience specializing in all facets of pediatric ophthalmology and strabismus, including pediatric cataract surgery and complex adult and pediatric strabismus. He previously co-directed the Pediatric Ophthalmology and Adult Strabismus Service at New York Eye and Ear Infirmary of Mount Sinai. Dr. Rosenberg received his undergraduate education at Harvard University and his medical degree from Columbia University College of Physicians & Surgeons. After his ophthalmology residency at Manhattan Eye, Ear & Throat Hospital, he completed his postdoctoral training with a fellowship in Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus with Zane Pollard, MD, at the James Hall Eye Center, Scottish Rite Children's Medical Center. In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Rosenberg has dedicated his career to education and has received numerous teaching awards, including the John S. Hermann, MD, Memorial Award for Excellence in Teaching, and the John Martin Wheeler Memorial Teaching Award.

Biography: Dr. C. Gustavo De Moraes is an Associate Professor of Clinical Ophthalmology at the Columbia University Medical Center and Attending Physician at New York Presbyterian Hospital. He sees patients with or at risk of developing glaucoma. His primary research interests are in novel techniques for glaucoma diagnosis, detection of progression, and treatment. Based on his research, Dr. De Moraes has been ranked among the top 10 glaucoma experts in the world, as cited at Expertscape.com. Dr. De Moraes completed a glaucoma fellowship at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary (NYEEI), later directing the Glaucoma Research Unit at the Einhorn Clinical Research Center of the NYEEI. He was also a Research Associate Professor of Ophthalmology at New York University (NYU). Dr. De Moraes is a member of the American Medical Association (AMA), American College of Surgeons (ACS), American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO), Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology (ARVO), American Glaucoma Society (AGS), New York Glaucoma Society (NYGS), Ophthalmic Laser and Imaging Society (OLIS). He is past chair of the Associate Advisory Board of the World Glaucoma Association (WGA), and Education Committee of the International Council of Ophthalmology (ICO). Dr. De Moraes is the current Associate Editor for the journalInvestigative Ophthalmology and Vision Sciences (IOVS), and co-chair of Glaucoma Progression Scholas (GPS). He has published over 250 articles in peer-reviewed journals and serves as a reviewer of the editorial boards of some journals with highest impact factor in the field of Ophthalmology. He has authored/ co-authored 5 book chapters in Ophthalmology and Glaucoma, as well as the Consensus on Medical Treatment and Consensus on Glaucoma Progression of the WGA. Dr. De Moraes has twice received the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO) Achievement Award. His clinical research has beenfunded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH), Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and Research to Prevent Blindness (RPB).
