Biography: Stephen Cheng, MD is a transplant surgeon at Medical City Abdominal Transplant & Hepatobiliary Specialists in Dallas. Dr. Cheng earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin. He completed both his general surgery internship and residency at Oregon Health Sciences University in Portland, Oregon. Dr. Cheng completed his multi-organ fellowship at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. He is board certified by the American Board of Surgery in general surgery and he is a member of the American Society of Transplant Surgeons, and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Cheng's clinical interests include liver, kidney and pancreas transplantation and surgical treatments of liver, bile duct, and pancreas tumors.
