Care Philosophy: Dr Laber is a hematologist/oncologist and senior member with Moffitt Medical Group in the Satellite and Community Oncology Department practicing at Tampa General Hospital and Moffitt international Plaza. The MMG faculty at TGH provides invaluable oncology services to the large patient population of this leading regional hospital. Dr Laber earned his MD at the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina. He completed his residency in internal medicine at Cleveland Clinic Health System, and was designated Chief Resident during his term at Hillcrest and Southpointe Hospitals.

Care Philosophy: Dr Jonathan Strosberg is a professor at Moffitt Cancer Center specializing in the management of neuroendocrine malignancies. He is a graduate of Harvard University and Cornell University Medical College and completed his residency and fellowship training programs at Georgetown University Hospital and Moffitt Cancer Center. He leads Moffitt's Neuroendocrine Tumor Division and Department of Gastrointestinal Oncology Research Program. Dr Strosberg has published over 150 articles on the diagnosis and management of neuroendocrine malignancies, with first-author publications in the New England Journal of Medicine, Journal of Clinical Oncology, Annals of Oncology, Clinical Cancer Research and other major journals.

Care Philosophy: Dr Zhang is a Genitourinary Oncologist and Interim Vice Chair of the Department of Genitourinary Oncology at Moffitt Cancer Center. He is also an Associate Professor of Oncology and Internal Medicine at the University of South Florida College of Medicine. His primary research interest is in integrating tumor evolution dynamics into the treatment for advanced prostate cancer. As the clinical research Director of Moffitt Cancer Center's Genitourinary Oncology Department, he has been the Principal Investigator (PI) and Co-Investigator of more than 50 phase I, II, and III clinical studies since joining Moffitt in July 2010.

Care Philosophy: Dr. Fletcheris an Associate Professor of Medicine within the Division of Hematology and Oncology. He is a Veterans Administration Advanced Career Development Awardee, American Heart Association Career Development Awardee and Florida Biomedical Research Program NIR Awardee.

Care Philosophy: Dr Christine Sam is an Assistant Member in the Department of Individualized Cancer Management/Senior Adult Oncology Program. Dr Sam received her medical degree from Michigan State University College of Human Medicine in East Lansing. She completed an Internal Medicine Residency at University of Michigan Health Systems in Ann Arbor. She completed her Hematology and Medical Oncology Fellowship at Moffitt Cancer Center/University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine in Tampa. Dr Sam's primary clinical interest is the treatment of cancer in older patients and developing care plans tailored to their individual needs. Her focus is the treatment of breast, gastrointestinal, and genitourinary malignancies.

Care Philosophy: Dr Druta earned her MD degree from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy Carol Davila, Romainia. She completed an Internal Medicine Residency and Hematology/Medical Oncology Fellowship at the University of South Florida at Moffitt Cancer Center. Dr Druta most recently completed a Sarcoma Medical Oncology Fellowship (Willie Tichenor Sarcoma Fellowship) at MD Anderson Cancer Center. Dr Druta's clinical interest is in the development of clinical trials focusing on targeted therapeutics specific to sarcoma patients. Her research interest is in the translational aspects of sarcoma biology focusing specifically on Well-differentiated/Differential Liposarcoma and Leiomyosarcoma.

Care Philosophy: Dr Shafique earned his Medical Degree from the University of Virginia School of Medicine and completed an Internal Medicine residency at Duke University Medical Center and a subsequent Hematology and Medical Oncology fellowship at the University of South Florida/Moffitt Cancer Center. Although Dr Shafique devotes most of his time to treating patients with lung cancer, he also sees patients with a broad spectrum of diagnoses as part of early-phase clinical trials. Additionally, he manages medical oncology treatments for patients with Gynecologic malignancies.

Care Philosophy: Dr Sameh Gaballa is an AssociateMember in the Moffitt Cancer Center Department of Malignant Hematology. Dr Gaballa earned his MD from Aims Shams University in Cairo, Egypt. He completed an Internal Medicine Residency and a Hematology and Medical Oncology Fellowship at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He then completed a Stem Cell Transplantation and Cellular Therapy Fellowship at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. Dr Gaballa previously practiced in the Thomas Jefferson University, Division of Hematologic Malignancies and Blood and Marrow Transplantation.

Care Philosophy: Dr Walker received her MD from University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry. She completed an Internal Medicine Residency and a Hematology/Oncology Fellowship at the University of Rochester, New York. She joins us from The Ohio State University, where she served as a Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Hematology. Dr Walker's clinical interests are in the care of patients with myeloid malignancies, specifically acute myeloid leukemia and myelodysplastic syndromes. She is particularly interested in identifying ways to deliver care that maximizes resource utilization and achieves superior patient satisfaction.

Care Philosophy: Dr Rachid Baz is a board-certified hematologist and medical oncologist who came to Moffitt in 2008 from Cleveland Clinic. Currently, Dr Baz is the Myeloma Section Head in the Department of Malignant Hematology at Moffitt Cancer Center and co-Director of the Pentecost Family Myeloma Research Center. He has developed a special expertise in managing patients with plasma cell disorders such as multiple myeloma, monoclonal gammopathy of undetermined significance (MGUS), plasmacytoma, primary systematic amyloidosis, and Waldenstrom's macroglobulinemia (WM). Among other awards, he was the recipient of the Junior Clinical Science Award at Moffitt, and the University of South Florida Outstanding Resident Teaching Award.

Care Philosophy: Dr Andre Beer Furlan is a skull base and endovascular neurosurgeon at Moffitt Cancer Center and Assistant Professor of Oncologic Sciences at the University of South Florida. Dr Beer Furlan earned his MD and PhD degrees from the University of Svo Paulo (FMUSP), a top ranked university in Latin America. He completed the neurosurgery residency at the same institution and practiced as a neurosurgeon and skull base surgeon in Sao Paulo, Brazil before moving to the United States.

Care Philosophy: Dr Blue earned his MD at Meharry Medical College, Nashville, Tennessee. Dr Blue completed an Internal Medicine Residency in the Department of Medicine at Washington University School of Medicine, St. Louis, Missouri, and d a Hematology/Oncology Fellowship in the Department of Medicine at Saint Louis University School of Medicine. Dr Blue recently completed a Blood and Marrow Transplant and Cellular Immunotherapy Fellowship at Moffitt Cancer Center. Dr Blue's clinical interests include treatment of plasma cell disorders and evaluation of patients pre and post bone marrow transplant. His research interests include reducing health disparities and improving health outcomes for plasma cell dyscrasias.
