Care Philosophy: Dr. Popescu is a graduate of Carol Davila School of Medicine in Bucharest, Romania and completed her Internal Medicine Residency at North Shore University Hospital at Forest Hills, NY. Dr. Popescu has worked in various settings including emergency room, urgent care, office, and hospital being familiar and comfortable with minimally invasive procedures as well as with the typical acute and non-acute internal medicine practice. He received his Medical Degree as well as completed both his Residency and Fellowship in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology from SUNY Downstate College of Medicine. Dr. Wu, originally practicing at Queens Hospital center returns to NY from his prior position out of Hershey, Pennsylvania. He is currently practicing at NewYork-Presbyterian Medical Group-Westchester located at 77 Pondfield Road (Lower Level) Bronxville, NY 10708. He specializes in multiple fields of Endocrinology with special interests in Diabetes and Thyroid Pathologies. He enjoys explaining the conditions he treat as he feels this will truly enhance his patient's understanding and overall outcome. Biography: Janneth Montoya, MD, is an internist at NewYork-Presbyterian Medical Group Westchester, specializes in primary care and is affiliated with NewYork-Presbyterian Lawrence Hospital. She treats a variety of medical conditions and sees adult patients of all ages. Dr. Montoya has been in practice for more than 20 years and focuses on her patients' health and wellbeing, as well as preventive care.Dr. Montoya is board certified in internal medicine and provides personalized and compassionate care to patients throughout Westchester county. She earned her medical degree from SUNY at Stony Brook School of Medicine and completed her residency in internal medicine and at North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset, New York. Biography: Dr. Buttari graduated from the University of Rome La Sapienza Italy in 1993. He practices at NewYork-Presbyterian Westchester Medical Group in Mount Vernon, NY where he specializes in Internal Medicine. He has been practicing for 16 years and his area of interests treated are cholesterol & diabetes management, geriatrics, hyperlipidemia, hypertension women's health, primary care and preventive medicine. Biography: Dr. Elizabeth Verna is the Frank Cardile Associate Professor of Medicine in the Center for Liver Disease and Transplantation and Division of Digestive and Liver Diseases at Columbia University, where she practices as transplant hepatologist. Dr. Verna has an active clinical research program in end-stage liver disease and liver transplantation and is the Director of Clinical Research for the Columbia UniversityTransplant Clinical Research Center.
