This surgical training, largely focused on laparoscopic surgery, including DaVinci robotic surgery, afforded her the opportunity to perform more advanced surgery through a minimally invasive approach allowing women to have shorter hospital stays, faster healing times, and return to their regular daily lives faster. Additionally during this time, she also focused on learning and understanding the many different aspects of pelvic pain and ways treat it. Dr. Garza is a member of several professional organizations, including: American Association of Gynecological Laparoscopy, the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the American Medical Association. She is Board-eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Loftin is a native of San Antonio and speaks Spanish fluently. She provides comprehensive care to women of all ages. She enjoys talking and listening to patients and believes that communication and patient education are important to the physician-patient relationship.
