She is skilled in minimally invasive and hidden scar surgical techniques, nipple sparing mastectomy and breast conservation therapy. In addition, she also focuses on thyroid and parathyroid surgery, specializing in surgery for both benign and malignant processes. Dr. Burns also performs many other general surgery procedures, including minimally invasive hernia repair, abdominal surgery, and removal of skin lesions and skin cancers. Biography: Jessica Marshall, DO, is a board-certified general surgeon. After earning a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Bradenton, Florida, Dr. Marshall completed an internship and residency in general surgery at Palisades Medical Center in North Bergen, New Jersey. She then went on to complete fellowship training in invasive, bariatric and robotic surgery at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. She has specialized training in DaVinci robotic surgical systems, LINX reflux management device surgery and minimally invasive bariatric surgery.
