Biography: Fred Howard, M.D., is board certified in general surgery and is known among his patients as jovial and approachable. He attended the University of Missouri Columbia, where he also completed his residency. A former pitcher for the Chicago White Sox, Dr. Howard practiced in Winter Haven before joining Heart of Florida Physician Group. Dr. Howard provides care for wound care patients and general surgery patients in the greater Lake Wales area. He treats patients with non-healing wounds in an outpatient setting at the Wound Care Center for Lake Wales Medical Center.

Care Philosophy: Robert Gallinaro, MD is a board certified general surgeon with over two decades of experience providing general surgery care. He utilizes the latest techniques and procedures including minimally invasive approaches. He specializes in breast cancer and breast surgery, gastroesophageal reflux, and inguinal hernia surgery. In addition Dr. Gallinaro provides colorectal surgery, dialysis access, intestinal surgery, and parathyroid surgery.
