She completed her internship at Grace Hospital, Wayne State University, Detroit, Michigan, and her residency at Rush Presbyterian St. Luke's Medical Center, Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Aruna Arekapudi completed a three-year fellowship in hematology and medical oncology at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago as a medical oncologist and hematologist at the Commonwealth Cancer Center in Frankfort, Kentucky, for nearly 25 years.

Biography: Matthew R. Wilson, MD, FACS, FASCRS, is a board-certified colon and rectal surgeon who earned his Doctor of Medicine from Tulane University in 2006. He completed an internship and residency in general surgery at the Naval Medical Center Portsmouth. He then practiced general surgery for the U.S. Navy until 2015. During his time on active duty, he was honored with the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal as well as two Navy and Marine Corps Commendation medals.
