Care Philosophy: Dr Deepa Danan is as an Associate Member in the Department of Head and Neck-Endocrine Oncology. Dr Danan received her MD degree from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, her MBA from Columbia Business School, and MHA from Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health, New York City. She completed an Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery residency at the University of Virginia Health System, Charlottesville, Virginia, followed by a Head and Neck Oncologic and Microvascular Surgery fellowship at the University of Miami, Florida.

Biography: Dr. Satish Mahara is a Clinical Assistant Member in the Department of Satellite and Community Oncology. Dr. Maharaj received his MD degree from the University of the West Indies. He completed an Internal Medicine Residency at University of Florida Health, Jacksonville. He then completed a Hematology and Oncology Fellowship at the University of Louisville, Brown Cancer Center, Kentucky. Dr. Maharaj joins us from Texas Tech University, Paul L Foster School of Medicine, where he was an Assistant Professor and attending physician in Hematology and Oncology at the University Medical Center, El Paso. Dr. Maharaj's clinical focus is on the treatment of gastrointestinal and head and neck cancers, including oral cavity, oropharyngeal, esophageal, gastric, colorectal, liver, pancreatic, and anal cancers. His research focuses on investigating the use of various biomarkers to better classify, treat and monitor cancer and the potential adverse effects of therapy.

Care Philosophy: My father once told me that physicians are privileged to enter the inner sanctums of patients that otherwise are not accessible to people in other professions; my responsibility to patients is to build trustworthy relationships and maintain utmost discretion and privacy. In daily interactions, my patients come first' in everything I do whether in scheduling their appointments or tailoring their treatment plan. Care Philosophy: Dr Cox received her MD degree from St. George's University School of Medicine, West Indies. She completed an Internal Medicine Residency at The University of Texas Medical Branch, where she served as Chief Resident. She subsequently completed a Pulmonary and Critical Care Fellowship at the University of South Florida. Dr Cox has been a member of the medical staff at Moffitt and the University of South Florida since 2007. She has held several clinical leadership roles, including Medical Director for ICU, Director of the Pulmonary Function Lab and Medical Director, Respiratory Care Services at Moffitt.

Biography: Dr. Anjuli Luthra, MD is a Gastroenterology Specialist who practices in Tampa, FL. She is 41 years old and has been practicing for 13 years. Dr. Anjuli Luthra, MD is affiliated with Moffitt Cancer Center Magnolia Campus.

Care Philosophy: Dr Shahzad was recruited to Moffitt Cancer Center in 2013 as a gynecologic oncologist in The Center for Women's Oncology. He completed his Gynecology Oncology fellowship training at the prestigious University of Wisconsin-Madison, School of Medicine and Public Health, alongside with PhD in endocrinology-reproductive physiology with special focus in cancer biology. Early in his career, he has rapidly distinguished himself as a future thought leader in the field.

Care Philosophy: Dr Iman Washington is an Assistant Member in the Department of Radiation Oncology. She is a member of the Breast section in Radiation Oncology and the Moffitt Breast Program. Dr Washington received her MD from Duke University School of Medicine, and completed a Preliminary Medicine Residency at Northwestern University/McGraw Medical Center in Chicago. Dr Washington recently completed a Radiation Oncology Residency at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center In Columbus. Her clinical interests include early and locally advanced breast cancer, metastatic breast cancer, and techniques aimed at minimizing radiation-related normal tissue complications.

Care Philosophy: Dr Michael Jain is an Associate Member and ICE-T Medical Director in the Moffitt Cancer Center Department of Blood and Marrow Transplant and Cellular Immunotherapy. Dr Jain earned his MD and PhD at McGill University in Montrv©al, in the province of Quv©bec, Canada. His PhD in Cell Biology was completed under the supervision of Dr John Bergeron. Dr Jain completed an Internal Medicine Residency and a Hematology Residency at the University of Toronto. He completed a Clinician Scientist Training Program and Clinical Fellowship in Lymphoma and Autologous Stem Cell Transplantation at Princess Margaret Cancer Center, University of Toronto.
