Biography: Derek Papp, M.D., is an orthopedic surgeon with Miami Orthopedics & Sports Medicine Institute and member of Baptist Health Medical Group, a network of primary care doctors and specialists who provide high-quality medical care to patients of all ages. He is Board certified in orthopedic surgery with a subspecialty Board certification in orthopedic sports medicine. Biography: Maria Kyriacou, M.D., is a primary care sports medicine physician at Miami Orthopedics & Sports Medicine Institute. Dr. Kyriacou specializes in non-surgical treatments for acute, overuse and chronic orthopedic problems. She has a special interest in sports-related injuries, joint arthritis, musculoskeletal ultrasound, and ultrasound-guided procedures. During her fellowship training, Dr. Kyriacou was involved in stem cell, platelet-rich plasma (PRP) and amniotic regenerative orthobiologic therapy. She is fluent in English, Spanish and Greek. During her fellowship, Dr. Kyriacou was part of the medical team for the Miami Dolphins, Florida International University, St. Thomas University and Barry University.
