A South Florida native, he graduated from Cardinal Gibbons High School and completed his Bachelor's Degree at the University of Florida where he graduated Cum Laude. He subsequently received his Medical Degree from Saint George's University and completed his general surgery residency at the University of Miami Palm Beach Regional Campus where he served as Chief Resident and received the Resident of the Year Award. Building on his interest in surgical technology, he completed his advanced GI minimally invasive surgery fellowship at South Miami Baptist Hospital. True to his South Florida roots, Dr. Rastatter joined the Center for Advanced Surgical Care in Atlantis, Florida.
