Biography: Dr. Schwab earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana in Champaign-Urbana, Ill. and his medical degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Medicine in Columbia, Mo. He completed his general surgery residency at the Atlanta Medical Center in Atlanta, Ga.Board certified, Dr. Schwab is a member of the American College of Surgeons and the Society of American Gastrointestinal Endoscopic Surgeons. Dr. Schwab is in practice with Wellstar Summit Surgical.

Care Philosophy: Judah Nathaniel Rauch, MD, is an Interventional Cardiologist at Montefiore and Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine at our Albert Einstein College of Medicine. His clinical focus is on the treatment of patients with coronary artery disease. He has a particular interest in the care of patients with acute coronary syndromes, cardiogenic shock and complex coronary disease.Dr. Rauch earned his Bachelor of Arts at Yeshiva University in 2006, followed by his Doctor of Medicine at New York University School of Medicine in 2010. He began his postdoctoral training at New York&rsquos Mount Sinai Hospital, completing a residency in internal medicine in 2013, serving as chief resident in 2014 and completing a fellowship in cardiovascular disease in 2017. In 2018, he completed an interventional cardiology fellowship at Montefiore Medical Center he received his Master of Business Administration from the University of Massachusetts in the same year.Dr. Rauch&rsquos research builds on his clinical interests and is focused on bringing large, multi-site clinical trials to Montefiore, affording patients the opportunity to benefit from new and innovative therapies.Dr. Rauch is board certified in interventional cardiology, cardiovascular disease and internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

Care Philosophy: Dr. Wasserman&#8217s dream to be a doctor started early in life. She remembers watching her father go through medical training as a young child and loved the idea of spending each day helping people. With a father who was a doctor and a mother who was a nurse, she attributes both with having a strong and lasting impact on her life&#8217s path. &#8220They both built their lives around helping people,&#8221 noted Wasserman. &#8220They ended up instilling that same need to serve in all of their children.&#8221&#160When her younger sister was diagnosed with Crohn&#8217s disease while Dr. Wasserman was in college, gastroenterology became a personal focus. Not only did it include her interest in nutrition, but it also presented her with a specialty that would allow her to interact with patients in both an office setting and while performing procedures.&#160In her free time, Wasserman enjoys spending time with her husband and two young sons. They love relaxing at the lake and traveling around the beautiful state of Michigan.Being a gastroenterologist is not just a job for me &#173&#8211 it is a passion. In and out of the endoscopy suite, I strive to treat each of my patients as individuals, helping them to achieve their best personal outcome.
