Biography: Dr. Paola Cruz-Chery joined CenterWell as a board-certified internal medicine specialist. Dr. Cruz-Chery completed her internal medicine residency at Harlem Hospital Center in New York City. She earned her medical degree from the Autonomous University of Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic. Dr. Cruz-Chery believes that CenterWell's senior-centered healthcare model provides her patients with high-quality treatment, personalized attention, and positive patient-physician interactions. She appreciates the chance to get to know and care for her patients, learning about their medical histories and wellness objectives. This helps her understand their requirements and concerns, allowing her to determine the appropriate treatment approach for their specific medical conditions. Dr. Cruz-Chery emphasizes open communication and mutual respect with her patients so they can feel comfortable expressing their health concerns with her as she guides them on their health journey. Dr. Cruz-Chery is a member of the American College of Physicians and the American Board of Internal Medicine. Outside of her work, she enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends and going out for a run.
