Biography: Kevin McHale, M.D., is a graduate of Jefferson Medical College where he received his medical degree. He completed his residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Pennsylvania and his Clinical Fellowship in Orthopaedic Surgery and Sports Medicine at Harvard/Massachusetts General Hospital. He previously served as Assistant Team Physician for the New England Patriots, Boston Red Sox and Boston Bruins. Dr. McHale is the recipient of the Jefferson Medical College Edward P. Beach Scholarship for academic merit, institutional commitment and community service. He completed his residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Pennsylvania and went on to complete his fellowship in both Sports Medicine and Shoulder Surgery at the University of Pittsburgh. Dr. Pepe is an Assistant Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and is on staff at Virtua Voorhees and Atlanticare Regional Medical Center. He is an Associate Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at the Sidney Kimmel College of Medicine at Thomas Jefferson University. He has authored numerous peer reviewed publications and book chapters in premier orthopaedic journals and lectures regionally, nationally, and internationally on his orthopaedic research. Dr. Tjoumakaris is the Associate Director of the Orthopaedic Sports Medicine Fellowship Program as well as the Associate Director of Sports Medicine Research and serves as an instructor at numerous arthroscopy courses. Dr. Tjoumakaris specializes in sports medicine and shoulder surgery with special expertise in shoulder, knee, and hip arthroscopy and reconstructive procedures.

He earned his Bachelor's degree from Boston College before completing his medical school and Orthopedic Residency at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia. He then went on to do a Fellowship in Shoulder and Elbow Surgery at the Rothman Institute at Thomas Jefferson where his mentors included Dr. Gerald Williams, Dr. John Fenlin, Dr. Mark Lazarus, Dr. Barbara Frieman, Dr. Matthew Ramsey, and Dr. Charles Getz . Training in Philadelphia, Dr. Ropiak saw the number of people from New Jersey willing to travel into the city for Orthopedic care and wanted to bring that Shoulder and Elbow expertise to them. Dr. Ropiak specializes in Total Shoulder replacement as well as Reverse Shoulder Replacement. He is also trained in arthroscopic and open shoulder repair and stabilization, including rotator cuff repair, throwing injuries and fractures. In addition to shoulder ailments, Dr. Ropiak treats a variety of operative and non-operative elbow injuries.
