Dr. Wilson acquired his MD at The University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston, TX and his BS in Molecular Biology, B.A. in Chemistry, Magna Cum Laude at Texas Lutheran University, Seguin, TX. Dr. Wilson has received Honors and Awards including the UTMB Department of Orthopedics Outstanding Resident Award, Orthopedic In-Training Exam High Score Award, Golden Bone Excellence in Teaching Award, Excellence in Resident Research Award, Orthopedic In-Training Exam Master Award, Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society, Gold Humanism Honor Society, Dr. Walter Junius Hildebrand Academic and Service Scholarship, Shriner's Summer Research Scholarship, Texas Lutherans University Outstanding Service Award and the American Southwest Conference Academic All-Conference.
