Biography: Damon Pierce, MD, has expertise in vascular and endovascular surgery, peripheral vascular disease, venous disease and varicose vein treatment. He also has expertise in carotid artery disease, abdominal aortic aneurysms, complex abdominal and thoracic aneurysms, TransCarotid Artery Revascularization (TCAR) and carotid stent placement, and wound care.Dr. Pierce considers communicating effectively - helping patients understand their problem and how it can be fixed - to be one of the most important aspects of being a doctor. He enjoys making a difference in his patients' lives, considering it a privilege and honor to help people. He takes the time to understand his patient's needs and wishes, educate them on the treatment options available and help guide them in choosing the best approach for them.
