Biography: Dr. Cohn is board-certified by the Vascular Surgery Board of the American Board of Surgery, VSB-ABS. He graduated magna cum laude from The University of Texas at San Antonio and received his medical degree from The University of Texas Southwestern Medical School. He completed his residency at The University of Florida Health Science Center and the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, and he completed his general vascular surgery fellowship at The University of Maryland Medical System in Baltimore. Before joining Savannah Vascular Institute in 2003, Dr. Cohn was an assistant professor of surgery at the Uniformed Health Services University in Bethesda, Maryland, while serving our country in the U.S. Air Force. He holds dual appointments as assistant professor of surgery and radiology for Mercer University School of Medicine and the Medical College of Georgia. He has published numerous scientific articles and remains active in teaching and participating in clinical trials on a variety of minimally invasive vascular techniques, including carotid artery stenting and peripheral angioplasty.

Biography: Dr. Mondy is board certified by the Vascular Surgery Board of American Surgery VSB-ABS. He holds active licensure in Georgia, Alabama and North Carolina. A graduate of the Medical College of Virginia, Dr. Mondy has extensive postgraduate experience including fellowship training at the University of California Sacramento and Wake Forest University. He holds numerous clinical and academic appointments in hospital and university systems throughout the region and is frequently consulted by the medical community for his expertise in treating particularly complex abdominal aortic aneurysms. He serves as medical director of Savannah Vascular Institute's IAC-accredited Vascular Testing Department. Dr. Mondy is an accomplished author and received the Best Doctor in America merit of excellence for eight consecutive years.

Biography: Dr. Walls received his undergraduate degree from Yale University in New Haven, CT, and his medical degree from Emory University in Atlanta. He completed both his residency and vascular surgery fellowship at Emory University. Dr. Walls was also an assistant professor of surgery at Emory University. He joined Savannah Vascular Institute in 2004. Dr. Walls is board-certified in vascular surgery and general surgery.

Biography: Dr. Moon is a graduate of the University of Georgia and Mercer University School of Medicine. He completed his general surgery residency at Memorial Health University Hospital in Savannah, then completed his vascular/endovascular surgery fellowship at the Ochsner Clinic Foundation in New Orleans. Dr. Moon is a member of the Society of Vascular Surgery and the Gulf Coast Vascular Society.

Biography: Dr. Dahn brings more than 40 years of vascular expertise to Savannah Vascular Institute. Trained at the State University of New York at Buffalo, with a longstanding career at the University of Connecticut, Dr. Dahn has worked with patients and families nationwide. Dr. Dahn received his Ph.D. in biochemistry from Wayne State University in Michigan and later completed an endovascular fellowship at Mercy General Hospital, also in Michigan. He has held multiple faculty and hospital appointments and is certified by the American Board of Vascular Surgery (VSB-ABS). Dr. Dahn is highly decorated with awards and honorarium appointments and has served on countless national and statewide committees.

Biography: Dr. Ellison attended the University of Georgia where he earned a bachelor of science in biology. He returned to his hometown of Augusta to attend the Medical College of Georgia and graduated in 2012. Dr. Ellison then completed his training in open and endovascular surgery at Louisiana State University Vascular Surgery Integrated Residency Program in New Orleans. In 2014, he received the Warren L. Gottsegen outstanding resident award. Dr. Ellison is board certified in vascular surgery and is an active member of the Society for Vascular Surgery.

Biography: Dr. Brown is a graduate of the University of Georgia and Mercer University School of Medicine-Savannah Campus. He completed his residency at Virginia Commonwealth University Medical Center and his fellowship in vascular surgery at the University of Arkansas for Medical Services. Dr. Brown is a member of the American Board of Surgery, Vascular and Endovascular Surgical Society, Society for Vascular Surgery, American College of Surgeons, American Medical Association and the Virginia Vascular Society.

Biography: Dr. Sussman received his undergraduate degree from Wake Forest University and completed medical school at the Medical College of Georgia. Dr. Sussman completed his surgical residency at Memorial Health University Medical Center and his vascular surgery fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. He established the Savannah Vascular Institute in 1994. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a member of the Medical Association of Georgia.
