Biography: As Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Fellowship Director in the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology, Dr. Lobo is dedicated to training the next generation of Reproductive Endocrinology specialists. He previously served as Chair and Willard C. Rappleye Professor of Columbia's Obstetrics and Gynecology Department. He also served as Director of the Center for Reproductive Sciences at the College of Physicians and Surgeons, and as Director of the Sloane Hospital for Women at Columbia University Medical Center. Before he came to Columbia, Dr. Lobo was Professor and Director of the Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility Division at the University of Southern California. His primary research interests are in reproductive endocrinology, hyperandrogenic disorders and polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). Dr. Lobo helped found the Journal of the Society for Gynecologic Investigation and has served as Editor-in-Chief since its inception. In 2010 he became President of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM), the society considered the foremost authority in reproductive medicine. He remains on ASRM's Executive Committee and other important Committees such as the Practice Committee. He excels in his areas of clinical interest and practice: reproductive endocrinology; infertility; Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome; and menopause. He has lectured extensively nationally and internationally, and is highly sought-after to speak in the areas of his expertise. Dr. Lobo has a special interest in gamete biology, induction of ovulation, In-Vitro Fertilization, estrogen metabolism, and the treatment of postmenopausal women.

Biography: Paula Brady, MD earned her medical degree from the Columbia University College of Physicians & Surgeons, and went on to complete her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Harvard Medical School/Brigham and Women's Hospital/Massachusetts General Hospital, where she was elected to lead the residency's educational activities in her chief year. She then completed her fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at Harvard Medical School/Brigham and Women's Hospital. Dr. Brady has published extensively on assisted reproduction and early pregnancy, and has presented her findings at national and international conferences. While still a fellow, she authored a textbook, "Handbook of Consult and Inpatient Gynecology" (Springer, 2016). Prior to medical training, she earned a B.A. in English from Yale University and a Master of Fine Arts in poetry from Boston University, and she has developed successful grant-funded programs in the arts and humanities for medical trainees. Dr. Brady is deeply committed to personalized fertility assessment and treatment for her patients, and has special interest in fertility preservation, ovarian reserve testing, diminished ovarian reserve, ovulatory disorders, and IVF. Dr. Brady is also Director of the Oncofertility Program at Columbia University Fertility Center, with expertise in fertility preservation and oocyte and embryo cryopreservation for patients with cancer diagnoses, as well as fertility evaluation and treatment for men and women after cancer.

Biography: Dr. McConnell received her medical degree from Louisiana State University Medical School in 1986. After completing her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Tulane University Medical Center she successfully completed a Fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the University of Southern California, School of Medicine in 1992. She served as Chief of the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the University of Nevada School of Medicine, Las Vegas, beginning in 1992. As Division Chief, Dr. McConnell was instrumental in the successful development of the University Institute for Fertility, and served as its Medical Director. She joined Columbia University as an Associate Professor in 2012. Dr. McConnell has a special interest in ovulatory disorders, tubal disease, fibroid disorders, male factor problems, ovarian aging, fertility preservation, In Vitro Fertilization and egg donation.

Biography: Jeffrey Klein, MD, is a reproductive endocrinologist and infertility specialist at RMA of New York and an attending physician at both White Plains and Hudson Valley Hospitals. Dr. Klein specializes in infertility, IVF, egg donation, polycystic ovarian syndrome, endometriosis, recurrent pregnancy loss, and reproductive surgery. His professional interests in IVF, reproductive aging, and egg donation have culminated in numerous reports in peer-reviewed journals as well as textbook chapters.
