Biography: After receiving her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at San Diego State University, Karlie Gross completed her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at Columbia University where she graduated top of her class and received the Mary E. Callahan award. Following graduation, she completed an Orthopedic Physical Therapy Residency at Columbia University, further advancing her orthopedic knowledge, and soon after, earned her certification as a Board-Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist. Dr. Gross continues to further her orthopedic knowledge and skills through taking frequent continuing education courses, mentoring the incoming orthopedic physical therapy residents, and being a clinical instructor to DPT students. Dr. Gross's clinical expertise is centered in general orthopedics, spine, and sports rehabilitation. During the 2019 NFL combine season, she had the opportunity to work with top collegiate athletes as they prepared for the NFL draft, and assisted in testing athletes, at the NFL combine in Indianapolis. Dr. Gross has been involved in various research projects focused on reducing injury risk in collegiate athletes, analyzing movement patterns and potential relationship to injury in youth athletes, and surgical ergonomics. Dr. Gross focuses on the individual as a whole that develops comprehensive treatment plans utilizing manual therapy techniques and functional therapeutic exercise to assist the patient in reaching their goals. In addition to clinical work, Dr. Gross is currently the primary instructor for the Sports Rehabilitation elective and assists in the orthopedic curriculum within Columbia's DPT program. Outside of the new clinical, Dr. Gross loves to be outdoors - hiking, running, playing soccer, traveling, trying new restaurants, and spending time with friends and family.

Biography: After receiving her Bachelor of Arts in Biology Education from the University of Delaware, Rebekah Wallach received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Stony Brook University. Following graduation, she gained extensive experience at the Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS), in the Sports Performance & Rehabilitation Center, Joint Mobility Center, and Acute Care Recovery Unit, managing patients with orthopedic and rheumatological conditions. Thereafter, expanding on her valuable leadership and clinical experiences, Dr. Wallach joined the Columbia University Department of Rehabilitation and Regenerative Medicine. At Columbia, Dr. Wallach continues to develop her wide range of skills and ability, as she specializes in orthopedic, spine, and scoliosis rehabilitation, in addition to seeing patients with gait disorders and peri-partum or post-partum patients. Given this focus, Dr. Wallach has completed the required components of a Level 2 certified physical therapist for the advanced treatment of scoliosis through the Barcelona Scoliosis Physical Therapy School (based on the Schroth Method) and the Scientific approach to Scoliosis (SEAS). As a Board-Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist, Dr. Wallach continues to further her orthopedic knowledge and skills through participating in regular continuing education courses, as well as mentoring students at the Columbia University Programs in Physical Therapy, serving as a clinical instructor, and teaching numerous lectures on management of patients with scoliosis, across the lifespan. Biography: Joseph Ciccone, DPT, is an orthopedic and sports therapy specialist who works with athletes of all ages and skill levels. His practice focuses on a wide array of musculoskeletal conditions, including management of chronic and acute injuries, and surgical rehabilitation. He has a strong interest in the care of adolescents and weekend warriors, as well as professional athletes, with special expertise in baseball rehabilitation, prehab, and performance training. Dr. Ciccone teaches at Columbia University's College of Physicians and Surgeons (including in the Doctor of Physical Therapy Program) and at New York University School of Physical Therapy. He works closelyand has written articleswith renowned Columbia Orthopedics surgeons. He graduated from Fordham University in 2004, where he played Division I baseball for the Fordham Rams.
