Care Philosophy: S. Ahsan Rizvi, MD, is a board-certified pediatric gastroenterologist who obtained a medical degree from the Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta, GA. He completed his internship and residency in pediatric medicine at the University of Florida School of Medicine, Shands Children's Hospital in Gainesville, FL. Dr. Rizvi also completed a fellowship in pediatric gastroenterology at the University of Florida at Arnold Palmer Hospital in Orlando, FL. Dr. Rizvi comes to AdventHealth from the Erlanger Health System in Chattanooga, TN, where he has practiced since 2022. Dr. Rizvi has published numerous articles for the Pediatric Gastroenterology Journal Club at Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children in Orlando, FL and has an extensive portfolio of peer-reviewed articles and abstracts.

Care Philosophy: Lane Westergaard, APRN, is a certified pediatric nurse with many years of medical experience. She earned her undergraduate degree at Valdosta State University in Georgia and her graduate degree at the University of Florida in Gainesville. She is a member of the American Nurses Association, the Central Florida Advanced Nursing Practice Council, the Central Florida Pediatric Society, the National Association of Pediatric Advanced Nurse Practitioners and Sigma Theta Tau International.

Care Philosophy: Dr. James Tarver is a fellowship-trained, board-certified cardiologist with more than 20 years of experience treating pulmonary hypertension. A graduate of the cardiology fellowship program at the National Naval Medical Center/Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Bethesda, MD, he was named Outstanding Fellow upon completion of his training there. He went on to serve as a pulmonary hypertension Clinical Fellow at Johns Hopkins Hospital. Previously, he earned his medical degree at the Boston University School of Medicine. Dr. Tarver is a veteran of the US Navy, where he served as a medical officer and achieved the rank of Commander. He is a recipient of a Bronze Star and two Gold Star commendations as well as the Navy ACP Governor's Award for Outstanding Clinical Research, among other honors. He has four times been named one of Orlando's Top Doctorsby Orlando Magazine.
