Biography: Dr. Tjoumakaris is board certified in orthopaedic surgery with a subspecialty certification in sports medicine from the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He is an Associate Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at the Sidney Kimmel College of Medicine at Thomas Jefferson University. He has authored numerous peer reviewed publications and book chapters in premier orthopaedic journals and lectures regionally, nationally, and internationally on his orthopaedic research. Dr. Tjoumakaris is the Associate Director of the Orthopaedic Sports Medicine Fellowship Program as well as the Associate Director of Sports Medicine Research and serves as an instructor at numerous arthroscopy courses. Dr. Tucker is assistant team orthopaedic surgeon for the Philadelphia Phillies and Philadelphia 76ers. He is also the team orthopaedic surgeon for The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey and Cumberland County Community College baseball team as well as Ocean City and Absegami High Schools. His clinical interests include the injured athlete, shoulder instability, rotator cuff tears, knee ligament reconstruction including the ACL, and cartilage restoration procedures. Dr. Tucker is on faculty at Thomas Jefferson University and Stockton College, and is involved in evidence based, peer reviewed orthopaedic research, with multiple publications and book chapters to his credit.

Biography: Dr. Danielle Ponzio is an Orthopaedic Surgeon with specialized training in hip and knee joint replacement and complex revision joint replacement. Dr. Ponzio was born and raised in New Jersey. She completed her undergraduate education at Princeton University, where she was a molecular biology major and varsity lightweight women's rower. She received her medical degree from Jefferson Medical College and went on to complete residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at the Rothman Institute at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. Most recently, she completed a fellowship in Adult Reconstruction at Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS) in New York. Dr. Ponzio has authored numerous journal publications and textbook chapters and actively conducts research in the field of Orthopaedic Surgery. As an avid athlete, enjoying cycling, running, skiing, and yoga, Dr. Ponzio is committed to getting her patients back to active lifestyles. Dr. Ponzio provides guidance through options of non-surgical and surgical care for musculoskeletal conditions affecting the hip or knee. These include degenerative arthritis, inflammatory arthritis, post-traumatic arthritis, avascular necrosis, hip dysplasia, infection, and fracture. She completed both her residency program and her fellowship training in Musculoskeletal, Sports and Spine at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. Dr. Woods previously served as the Program Director for ACGME PMR Sports Medicine Fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, which involved training fellows in interventional spine procedures. Her clinical interests include spine rehabilitation, electrodiagnostics, interventional spine procedures, trigger point injections, and sports injuries.
