Biography: Dr. Elan Goldwyn is a board certified Orthopaedic Surgeon practicing at NewYork-Presbyterian Medical Group Queens located in Fresh Meadows, NY. He received his medical degree at Albert Einstein College of Medicine Yeshiva University and completed his residency in Orthopedic Surgery. Dr. Goldwyn is the Director of Orthopedic Trauma Service at NewYork-Presbyterian Queens and is also an Assistant Professor of Clinical Orthopedic Surgery at Weill Cornell Medicine. He is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and chose a career in Orthopedics because musculoskeletal conditions are some of the most common and debilitating ailments we suffer from.

Care Philosophy: I provide individualized, comprehensive treatment of patients with musculoskeletal injuries involving the knee, shoulder, ankle, and elbow. I strongly believe that the road to recovery requires a "team approach" that involves commitment from both myself and the patient. Most injuries can be treated successfully with proper diagnosis and rehabilitation. When surgical intervention is necessary, minimally invasive surgery through arthroscopic procedures is utilized to accomplish early return to work and play.
