Biography: Dr. Salvo is double board certified in orthopaedic surgery and sports medicine by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons. He is a Clinical Associate Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and specializes in knee ligament (ACL) reconstructions, shoulder instability, rotator cuff repairs, and hip arthroscopy. As Director of the Hip Arthroscopy program at Rothman Institute, Dr. Salvo serves as one of the region’s leaders in hip arthroscopy, particularly in athletes. He is an assistant team physician for the Philadelphia Flyers and a consultant for the Philadelphia Phillies. He is an active member of several subspecialty societies, including the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the Arthroscopy Association of North America, the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine, and the International Society for Hip Arthroscopy.

He completed his residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Pennsylvania and went on to complete his fellowship in both Sports Medicine and Shoulder Surgery at the University of Pittsburgh. Dr. Pepe is an Assistant Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and is on staff at Virtua Voorhees and Atlanticare Regional Medical Center. Dr. Pepe is one of the Team Orthopaedic Surgeons for the Philadelphia Eagles, as well as Stockton College. He is active in clinical research and has authored numerous peer reviewed articles and book chapters.

Biography: Dr. Frey is fellowship-trained in sports medicine and board-certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He specializes in surgical and nonsurgical treatments of the hip, knee, and shoulder and is dedicated to joint preservation, attempting nonoperative treatment methods first before recommending surgical intervention. Dr. Frey utilizes ultrasound-guided injections as well as stem cell injections and platelet-rich plasma (PRP) injections to help stimulate the natural healing process. When surgery is necessary, Dr. Frey specializes in arthroscopy and other minimally invasive techniques.
