Care Philosophy: I am an orthopedic surgeon who is fellowship-trained in hip and knee replacement. Patients with osteoarthritis, or any type of arthritis, may benefit from replacement surgery. I also offer partial knee replacement which can be an excellent option for patients with severe arthritis in just one part of their knee. I chose this specialty because so many patients say, "I feel like I got my life back," after having surgery; there is nothing more thrilling than hearing that. When treating hip and knee arthritis, I think it is critical to exhaust all nonoperative treatments, and then to work with each patient to decide when it's the right time for them to have surgery. After surgery, I want to help patients get through recovery and rehabilitation as quickly as possible so they can get back to the activities they enjoy.

Care Philosophy: Growing up as an athlete, it was essential for my body to function. My version of happy and healthy is being able to move my body and participate in the activities I enjoy. These aspects are what drew me to orthopedics. The ability to restore the function in someone's body so they can return to living life to the fullest is what brings me joy. Orthopedics is unique in that someone can come in with an injury, arthritis or pain, and we can restore their function. My approach to care is collaborating with my patient to create a plan that they can feel confident about and that aligns with their goals. It's important for the patient to understand their diagnosis and treatment plan to have the best outcome.

Care Philosophy: I am a fellowship-trained orthopedic sports medicine surgeon specializing in the surgical treatment of knee and shoulder disorders. My clinical interests include rotator cuff tears, shoulder arthritis, anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) tears, and meniscus tears. My goal as an orthopedic surgeon is to return patients back to their pre-injury levels and doing the things that they enjoy doing most. I take a patient-first approach to understand the problem, patient goals, and use a shared-decision making model to develop an appropriate treatment plan.
