Biography: Dr. Jacob Manuel graduated Phi Beta Kappa with a degree in Biochemistry from the University of Texas in Austin. He then earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas at the top of his class. He completed his residency in general surgery and Orthopedic surgery at the University of Illinois at Chicago's College of Medicine and was elected Chief Orthopedic resident in his final year. Dr. Manuel completed his fellowship in joint reconstruction at Cornell University's Hospital for Special Surgery in New York.
