Biography: Dr. Michael Tay graduated summa cum laude from the University of New Hampshire with a degree in Biology. He enrolled at the New England College of Optometry in Boston, MA, where he obtained his doctoral degree in 2021. He spent several years in Boston serving a diverse patient population at various community health centers, Veteran Affairs medical centers, and private practices. He gained vast knowledge in ocular disease (glaucoma, cataracts, macular degeneration), contact lenses, binocular vision, and neuro-optometry. After graduating from optometry school, he spent one year working with an ophthalmologist in West Hollywood, CA, learning more about dry eyes, cataract surgery, and laser vision correction (LASIK).
