Biography: Christy Sims is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner at HCA Florida Citrus Women's Health. She began her career in ultrasonography, where her passion for women's health was truly ignited. After 10 years, Sims moved on to become a nurse. Starting first in the emergency room then transitioning to labor and delivery. In 2017, she graduated from Western Governors University with her Bachelors of Science in Nursing. In 2021, she graduated from Chamberlain University with her Masters of Science in Nursing. Christy Sims is board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center and by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She is also certified by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography in 0B/GYN. Christy Sims will never take for granted the opportunity of being a part of each patient's journey through pregnancy and the postpartum period.
