Biography: Lisa Mix, CNM, MS serves as a certified nurse midwife at Women's Health Specialists & Midwives of Dayton. She completed her nursing degree Miami Valley Hospital School of Nursing and earned a bachelors of science degree in nursing from the Indiana Wesleyan University. She earned her certificate of nurse midwifery and a masters of science in Midwifery at the Institute of Midwifery, Women and Health in Philadelphia. She has served as a level 3 labor and delivery nurse and a staff nurse in trauma and emergency. Lisa has been with Women's Health Specialists since April 2000. Lisa was one of the original Family Beginnings nurses and the founding midwife of our practice with Dr. Guy. She is also certified in Electronic fetal monitoring. Her special interest is in menopausal management and compounded HR. Lisa is accepting new patients.

Biography: Emily Stone, MD has been in Ohio nearly all her life, slowly moving west from Newark to Columbus to Dayton, where she graduated from Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine. She stayed in the area and completed her OB/Gyn residency at the same institution. Dr. Stone is currently accepting new patients. Her desire is to serve women of all ages and stages of life and to provide excellence in comprehensive patient care. Outside of work, she plays piano for her church and goes on adventures with her husband, two kids, and dog.
