Biography: Ann Ohlin, ARNP, is a family nurse practitioner who specializes in the management of diabetes in adults. Ann works with hospitalized patients who have diabetes, helping them improve diabetes management during their hospital stay and facilitating access to appropriate support to ensure they have the best opportunity to care for themselves at home upon discharge. Ann understands that, for many patients, managing diabetes can be tricky, complicated and, at times, frustrating, and that the needs of diabetic patients vary widely. She helps patients understand their diabetes, supports their self-management practices and desired improvements, and provides access to information and medicines toward that end. She also works to advise other care providers about diabetes so they may better serve the community.

Care Philosophy: Charlotte (Charlie) Parsons, ARNP, offers care and education for patients with diabetes. Charlie treats each patient as an individual and focuses on keeping them well-informed regarding their medical condition and its management. She enjoys teaching and coaching patients, helping them understand their choices, set goals and actively participate in their own care. Charlie has over 14 years of direct patient care experience. She is a certified insulin pump trainer and a member of the American Associate of Diabetes Educators. She volunteers with local nonprofit diabetes organizations, including a diabetes camp. Outside of work, Charlie enjoys photography, bicycling, reading, travel and spending time with family.
