Biography: Natosha Croy, CNM, is a certifiednurse-midwife with LewisGale Physicians,providing nurse-midwifery services inSalem, Virginia, including obstetrics andgynecological care. Ms. Croy earned herMaster of Science in Nursing from FrontierNursing University in Hyden, Kentucky. Shealso holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursingand a Bachelor of Business Administration,both from Radford University. Ms. Croy is board-certified by the AmericanCollege of Nurse-Midwives and has over 15years of registered nursing experience.Focusing on women's reproductive healthand childbirth, she provides well-womangynecologic exams and prenatal care,contraceptive counseling, labor andpostpartum management, and lactationsupport. Biography: Sherrie Doss, DNP, WHNP-BC, CNM, is a certified women's health nurse practitioner with LewisGale Physicians in Blacksburg, Virginia. Ms. Doss earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing, followed by her Master of Science in Nursing with a focus on Women's Health from Old Dominion University (ODU) in Norfolk, Virginia. She also earned her Doctorate of Nursing Practice from ODU. In addition, she holds a Post Master's Certification in Midwifery from Shenandoah University in Winchester, Virginia. Ms. Doss is certified by the National Certification Corporation and the American Midwifery Certification Board. She is a member of the National Association of Nurse Practitioners in Women's Health, Virginia Council of Nurse Practitioners, and has previously served as a president and vice president for the Virginia Affiliate of the American College of Nursing Midwives. Additionally, she has held numerous teaching positions, published several articles, and has been featured as a guest speaker on several occasions. She has an extensive nursing background and has more than 40 years of diverse nursing experience. Ms. Doss is passionate about caring for women throughout their lifespan. Outside of the practice, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, camping, fishing, trying new recipes, reading, and attending church functions.

Biography: Brynn Wallin, CNM, is a certified nurse-midwife with LewisGale Physicians in Salem, Virginia. She earned her Master of Science in Nurse-Midwifery from Emory University and holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, with a minor in public health, from Radford University Carilion. Mrs. Wallin is board certified by the American College of Nurse-Midwives. She provides nurse-midwifery services to women from adolescence to post-menopause. Prior to her work as a midwife, she worked as a nurse in oncology and hematology. Her care is founded on the core principles of midwifery, including effective communication, shared decision-making, collaboration with other team members, and personalized, evidence-based care for those she serves. She welcomes new patients and is happy to provide prenatal, birth, and postpartum care, as well as well-woman gynecological care and family planning options. When not seeing patients, Mrs. Wallin enjoys spending time with her family and two Great Danes, traveling, and crocheting.

Biography: Tamara Higgins, CNM, MSN, MBA, is a board-certified nurse-midwife serving women and their families at LewisGale Physicians in Salem, Virginia. Ms. Higgins earned her Master of Science in Nurse-Midwifery from Frontier Nursing University in Hyden, Kentucky. She also earned a Master of Science in Nursing from California University of Pennsylvania and a Master of Business Administration, with honors, from American Public University. In addition to her graduate work, Ms. Higgins earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, with honors, from Cedar Crest College, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from University of Maine at Machias. Ms. Higgins is board certified by the American Midwifery Certification Board. She provides compassionate, evidence-based care for women in all stages of pregnancy, with a focus on perinatal care. She attends births at LewisGale Medical Center, offering women the choice for less medical intervention during their labor and delivery, while in a state-of-the-art medical center. Ms. Higgins offers consultations with each of her patients to develop customized care plans, and is trained to assist in Cesarean sections.When not caring for patients, Ms. Higgins most enjoys spending time with her family and her pets, including her two bearded dragons.

Biography: Ashley Worley, CNM, is a certified nurse-midwife welcoming new patients in Blacksburg and Salem, Virginia.Ms. Worley earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Radford University in Radford, Virginia followed by her Master of Science in Nurse-Midwifery from Frontier Nursing University in Versailles, Kentucky. She is board-certified by the American College of Nurse-Midwives. She has more than 15 years of serving patients in Southwest Virginia. She served at the bedside as a labor and delivery nurse as well as serving as a perinatal care coordinator for mothers with high-risk pregnancies or substance use disorders.Ms. Worley is passionate about serving women and implementing evidence-based care for her patients. As a certified midwife, she believes in using a patient-centered approach to guide patients through decisions that impact their well-being. She strongly values providing education and resources to empower women in their lives. She has a strong interest in caring for people who are navigating perimenopause and menopause in addition to caring for people during pregnancy and birth. She provides a comprehensive range of services to women from adolescence to post-menopause including well-women exams, preventative screenings, care during pregnancy and birth, and referrals for various gynecological issues and conditions. When not seeing patients, she enjoys spending time with her family. She has been married for 16 years and has two children, a German shepherd dog, 20 fainting goats, and 20 chickens.
