Biography: Pawan Rastogi, MD, is a gastroenterologist at NewYork-Presbyterian Medical Group Hudson Valley and an assistant professor of medicine at Columbia University Medical Center. He performs procedures at NewYork-Presbyterian Hudson Valley Hospital, with a focus on gastrointestinal and pancreaticobiliary endoscopies. After graduating from the University at Buffalo School of Medicine, Dr. Rastogi went on to complete an internal medicine residency and gastroenterology fellowship at Medstar Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, D.C. During his tenure at Georgetown, Dr. Rastogi received the Donald Knowlan Award for his leadership and high level of clinical competency and was named chief gastroenterology fellow. Dr. Rastogi then came to Montefiore Medical Center, where he furthered his training and completed a second fellowship in advanced endoscopy and interventional gastroenterology. Dr. Rastogi specializes in performing endoscopic ultrasound, endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography, upper endoscopy, and colonoscopy. He treats a variety of gastrointestinal diseases and specializes in pancreatic and biliary endoscopic interventions.
