I graduated from the University of Minnesota Medical School and then completed my residency in internal medicine at Hennepin County Medical Center in 1992. Biography: I practice general outpatient internal medicine. This means that I treat adults with nonsurgical health concerns. I enjoy getting to know people over time as I help them stay up to date on preventive medicine, control any medical problems that they have, and treat any illnesses that they develop. I have experience working as a doctor in Illinois, where I focused a lot on managing high blood pressure, diabetes, high cholesterol and depression. My favorite part of being a doctor is getting to know people as unique individuals and working together to help them achieve their goals.

Biography: I am a two-time board-certified internal medicine specialist with more than 20 years of clinical experience. My patients are mostly adults and elderly people with multiple chronic medical conditions mainly hypertension, diabetes, high cholesterol; heart, lung and gastrointestinal disorders; osteoporosis and many other issues, including mental disorders. I can take care of most medical problems at a very high level, which decreases the need to see multiple specialists. I'm always looking at the whole picture, and I try to pick the simplest treatments that can target the most issues at the same time. Prevention is one of my main goals, as it's always much harder to deal with the serious consequences of poorly controlled medical conditions and an unhealthy lifestyle.
