Biography: Dr. Amer Alanbari, a board-certified Internal Medicine Specialist, performed a pulmonary fellowship at the University of Nancy France. In 1992, he completed his internal medicine training at Methodist Hospital in Brooklyn, NY, following a residency at the University of Toronto. Dr. Alanbari ran a solo Internal Medicine Clinic in Paterson, NJ from 1993-2005. Before joining our center in 2024, he served as a hospitalist at multiple institutions, including McAllen Medical Center, McAllen Heart Hospital, and Doctors Hospital at Renaissance, as well as the Rio Grande Regional Hospital and Solara Hospital, spanning from 2005 to 2020. Dr. Alanbari worked with multiple clinics with ASAS Corporation from 2021 to June of 2024. His academic appointments have included serving as an attending physician at St. Joseph's Regional Medical Center in New Jersey and leading teaching rounds at Corner-Stone Hospital and Edinburg Regional Medical Center in South Texas. Dr. Alanbari is passionate about addressing diabetes, heart health, and obesity, safeguarding the quality of life of seniors. He believes listening to patients is vital to their well-being. Married with five grown children, he enjoys spending time with family, cooking, and the outdoors.

Biography: Dr. Marianne Hazelitt, a board-certified internal medicine specialist, completed her residency at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. She earned her medical degree from Touro University, following her degree in Cellular and Molecular Biology, magna cum laude, from Mountain State University. Named EmCare's Director of the Year in 2016, her honors include the Dean's List and a Clark County Scholarship. She has presented at conferences such as the American College of Physicians and the American Thoracic Society. Before joining us in 2024, Dr. Hazelitt practiced at Intermountain Healthcare in Las Vegas, NV. She was previously the medical director and internist of her private practice clinic in Pahrump, NV, and held roles as lead hospitalist and medical director at Desert View Hospital, Lake City Medical Center, and West Florida Hospital. Passionate about reversing chronic disease through nutrition and healthy living, Dr. Hazelitt believes in the power of listening to provide compassionate care. Inspired by her own health battles, she chose medicine to help others facing similar challenges. In her free time, she enjoys musical theater, acting, dancing, and the beach.
