Biography: My focused experience in all areas of digestive health provides Digestive Health Specialists, PA and my patients with experience that can be counted on. I was born in Birmingham, Alabama and grew up in St. Louis, Missouri. I earned my B.A. degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City and my MD degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine. I completed my internship and residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where I also completed my Fellowship in Gastroenterology and Hepatology. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry and Biology from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and completed my Master of Medical Science, Physician Assistant Studies from Wake Forest School of Medicine. I am a certified physician assistant with experience in hematology and oncology with a focus on GI cancers. I am a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the American Society of Clinical Oncology. I enjoy traveling internationally with my husband, and have been living in Winston-Salem for most of my life.

Biography: I was born and raised in North Carolina. I attended Appalachian State University for undergraduate studies majoring in Exercise Science with a pre-professional concentration. During my undergraduate studies, I worked as an EMT-Basic. After App State, I attended High Point University for my masters in physician assistant studies.
