Biography: Kelley Doss, MSN, APRN, FNP-C is a family nurse practitioner specializing in primary care at LewisGale Physicians in Lexington, Virginia. Ms. Doss attended Danville Community College in Danville, Virginia, where she earned an Associate of Science in Nursing followed by a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia. She went on to obtain a Master of Science in Nursing from Averett University in Danville, Virginia. She is board-certified through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and the American Nurses Association. Ms. Doss has over 13 years of diverse nursing experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings including intensive care, progressive care, and urgent care. She also brings with her a strong background in cardiology. As a primary care provider, she diagnoses, treats, and manages acute/chronic conditions including high blood pressure, high cholesterol, heart disease, diabetes, and depression. In addition, she performs annual wellness visits, cancer screenings, and other preventative care screenings, analyzes test results, develops patient care plans, and educates patients on health-related topics. Originally from Caswell County, North Carolina, she has recently relocated to Alleghany County, Virginia where she is settling in and enjoying all the beautiful mountain scenery.
