Biography: Elizabeth Mick, APRN, FNP-C, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner serving primary care patients of all ages at LewisGale Physicians in Bonsack. Mrs. Mick earned her Master of Science in Nursing and Bachelor of Science in Nursing, graduating summa cum lade, from Radford University School of Nursing. She also completed a Master of Public Health from West Virginia University and a Bachelor of Arts in Adult Fitness from Marshall University. Mrs. Mick is board-certified as a family nurse practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Mrs. Mick has been providing patient-focused nursing care to residents in the Greater Roanoke Valley since 2011 and has over 20 years of healthcare and wellness experience. She has a passion for educating patients on nutrition, exercise, and chronic disease prevention. She provides comprehensive primary care services and sees patients for annual wellness visits, general physicals, lab and x-ray services, preoperative evaluations, and management of acute and chronic illnesses. Ms. Tyree earned her Master of Science in the Family Nurse Practitioner Program at James Madison University. She also graduated with honors from Liberty University, with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, and holds an associate's degree in nursing from Dabney S. Lancaster Community College. Ms. Tyree is board-certified as a family nurse practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. In addition to annual wellness visits and general family care, she is experienced in the treatment of hypertension, diabetes, and acute illnesses. When not seeing patients, she enjoys spending as much time as possible with her family.

Biography: Samantha Smart, FNP, completed her undergraduate degree in Nursing at Radford University in Radford Virginia and her Master of Science as a Family Nurse Practitioner from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia. Samantha is board-certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.Samantha believes in providing evidence-based care to her patients. Her focus is family medicine, enabling her to assist patients of all ages in wellness checks, prevention care, and treatment. When not working Samantha enjoys swimming, and hiking with her husband and two dogs.
