Dr. Rasul specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of disorders of the endocrine system, including diabetes, thyroid disease, hormone imbalances, and metabolic disorders. He has a special interest in managing patients with insulin pumps, as well as gestational diabetes.

Biography: Beth Hite, FNP, is a certified Family Nurse Practitioner with LewisGale Physicians Endocrinology in Salem, Virginia. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Virginia Polytechnic State University and an Associate degree from Virginia Western Community College. Following her undergraduate work, Mrs. Hite completed a Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Mrs. Hite is board certified as a FNP by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. In addition, she is certified by the American Heart Association in Basic and Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Stroke Support. Mrs. Hite is an active member of both the national and local chapters of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). Mrs. Hite is skilled in performing physical assessments, interpreting imaging and lab results, and diagnosing patients. She looks forward to treating new patients from Salem and the surrounding community.
