Biography: Susan Xie, MD, is a pediatrician who specializes in adult and pediatric allergy and immunology. Dr. Xie enjoys being able to improve patients' lives and to apply evolving clinical research to evidence-based patient care. Her areas of expertise include food allergy, asthma, rhinitis, atopic dermatitis, urticaria/angioedema, drug allergy, insect venom allergy and immunodeficiencies. _x000D_ Dr. Xie forms long-term partnerships with patients and families, and serves as their advocate when caring for common and rare allergic and immunologic conditions. She ensures her patients' voices are heard when tailoring treatment plans to their unique needs and goals. _x000D_ Dr. Xie is a member of the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology (ACAAI); American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology (AAAAI); and World Allergy Organization (WAO). She received the ACAAI SPARK award in 2018. _x000D_ Away from work, she enjoys making ceramics, traveling and film photography.

Biography: Margaret Kim, MD, is a board-certified internist specializing in allergy and immunology. She also holds a Master of Science degree in human nutrition from Columbia University (New York, NY). Dr. Kim is an advocate for shared decision-making and evidence-based practice. She treats her patients as she would wish to be treated, with respect and compassion. _x000D_ Dr. Kim is a member of the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology (ACAAI), American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology (AAAAI) and Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society. She received the Northwestern McGaw School of Medicine, Division of Allergy and Immunology Outstanding Teaching Fellow Award in 2022. She also received the AAAAI 2022 Annual Meeting Immunotherapy, Rhinitis, Sinusitis and Ocular Diseases (IRSO) Informatics Abstract Award. _x000D_ Away from work, Dr. Kim enjoys biking, rollerblading and drawing.
