Care Philosophy: Dr. Lackey is a Otolaryngologist-Head and Neck Surgeon, with specialized fellowship training in voice, airway, and swallowing disorders. She brings passion and expertise in the rehabilitation of the larynx to provide patients of Austin ENT Clinic with meaningful outcomes in communication and swallowing. Her unique training allows her to perform numerous in-office procedures, including vocal fold injections, biopsies, and airway evaluations. Additionally, Dr. Lackey performs awake laser procedures for voice and airway disorders. She holds broad expertise in the evaluation and treatment of the singing voice, benign and cancerous vocal cord disease, complex airway surgery, and swallowing disorders including Zenkers diverticula and complete esophageal stenosis. Dr. Lackey believes it is paramount for an otolaryngologist, speech-language pathologist, and the patient to work together to develop a comprehensive plan for evaluating and treating voice, breathing, and swallowing disorders.
