Biography: Dr. Miller, a native of the Philadelphia suburbs, spent the majority of his childhood growing up in southern California before returning to Pennsylvania where he finished his high school years at Malvern Prep in Malvern, Pennsylvania. He played varsity soccer and competed in both trap and skeet shooting. He continued his education at Duke University where he majored in Economics, graduating with honors. Dr. Miller attended the Sidney Kimmel Medical College from 2009-2013. He was elected into the Hobart Amory Hare Medical Society for achieving high honors in pre-clinical education, the Samuel Gross Surgical Society for excellence in surgical clerkship, as well as the Alpha Omega Alpha Honors Society. Additionally, he served as president of his medical fraternity, Alpha Kappa Kappa. Upon completion of medical school, he completed his orthopedic residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital where he spent time training with both the Rothman Institute as well as the Philadelphia Hand to Shoulder Center. Dr. Miller received numerous awards for research during his residency and was honored by the hand association with the best research paper award in 2018. Dr. Miller completed a Hand and Microvascular Surgery Fellowship at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN in 2018. He was awarded the Alice Jensen Hand Fellowship award during his time there. During both his residency and fellowship, he also spent time working on and patenting a wound care device and continued to be involved in entrepreneurial work in the healthcare field. Immediately after completion of his fellowship, he spent several weeks abroad in Central America and Europe studying under pioneers in the field of peripheral nerve and arthroscopy before returning to Philadelphia to join his former mentors and colleagues at the Philadelphia Hand to Shoulder Center. Dr. Miller's clinical and research interests include upper extremity trauma, brachial plexus and peripheral nerve repair, as well as wrist arthroscopy and wrist injury. Dr. Miller also enjoys donating his time and raising funds for medical mission trips in central and South America, where he has made numerous mission trips, a passion that he will remain involved with during his career. Outside of his professional work, Dr. Miller enjoys creative writing and playing competitive tennis and soccer. He is also an avid Philadelphia sports fan.

Biography: Dr. Winters is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon that specializes in all areas of foot & ankle surgery, with an emphasis on total ankle replacement, ligament and tendon repair/reconstruction, sports related injuries, minimally invasive arthroscopic techniques, deformity correction and reconstructive surgery related to cartilage injury, avascular necrosis, arthritis, neurologic conditions, trauma, and acute lower extremity fracture care. After receiving his bachelor's degree at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ, where he pitched for the Scarlet Knights nationally ranked varsity baseball team and graduated with Honors, he stayed in New Brunswick to complete two years of dedicated research at Rutgers-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. He later went on to complete his medical education there and was inducted in to the Alpha Omega Alpha-National Medical and Gold Humanism Honor Societies. He subsequently completed his orthopaedic surgery residency and orthopaedic foot and ankle surgery fellowship at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. Dr. Winters has received multiple awards for his academic excellence, clinical achievement, and leadership. He is an associate professor of orthopaedic surgery at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia and is very active in research, which has resulted in numerous publications and book chapters.

Biography: Kevin McHale, M.D., is a graduate of Jefferson Medical College where he received his medical degree. He completed his residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Pennsylvania and his Clinical Fellowship in Orthopaedic Surgery and Sports Medicine at Harvard/Massachusetts General Hospital. He previously served as Assistant Team Physician for the New England Patriots, Boston Red Sox and Boston Bruins. Dr. McHale is the recipient of the Jefferson Medical College Edward P. Beach Scholarship for academic merit, institutional commitment and community service. He is also the recipient of the Jefferson Medical College Lavine Scholarship awarded to select medical students performing clinical research. Dr. McHale grew up in Cape May County and attended Ocean City High School.

Care Philosophy: My Practice Philosophy: I treat every patient with courtesy, kindness and compassion. I personally see and examine each patient during every outpatient visit. I discuss the diagnosis and treatment options and do my best to guide patients in choosing the treatments best suited to their individual needs and preferences. My patients leave their outpatient appointments feeling well-informed and involved in the decision- making process regarding their treatment. I attempt to treat all my patients by non-surgical methods initially, and only recommend surgery when this becomes the best option. Whenever surgery does become necessary, I always do my best to operate with great care and thoroughness. Biography: Dr. Danielle Ponzio is an Orthopaedic Surgeon with specialized training in hip and knee joint replacement and complex revision joint replacement. Dr. Ponzio was born and raised in New Jersey. She completed her undergraduate education at Princeton University, where she was a molecular biology major and varsity lightweight women's rower. She received her medical degree from Jefferson Medical College and went on to complete residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at the Rothman Institute at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. Most recently, she completed a fellowship in Adult Reconstruction at Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS) in New York. Dr. Ponzio has authored numerous journal publications and textbook chapters and actively conducts research in the field of Orthopaedic Surgery. As an avid athlete, enjoying cycling, running, skiing, and yoga, Dr. Ponzio is committed to getting her patients back to active lifestyles. Dr. Ponzio provides guidance through options of non-surgical and surgical care for musculoskeletal conditions affecting the hip or knee. These include degenerative arthritis, inflammatory arthritis, post-traumatic arthritis, avascular necrosis, hip dysplasia, infection, and fracture. Biography: Dr. Post is a board certified orthopaedic surgeon. He previously had a private practice in Montana and Utah. His areas of expertise include but are not limited to hip and knee arthroplasty and reconstruction.

Biography: Dr. Matthew Pepe is a board certified Orthopaedic Surgeon who specializes in Sports Medicine, particularly, shoulder, knee, and elbow reconstruction. He completed his residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Pennsylvania and went on to complete his fellowship in both Sports Medicine and Shoulder Surgery at the University of Pittsburgh. Dr. Pepe is an Assistant Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and is on staff at Virtua Voorhees and Atlanticare Regional Medical Center. Dr. Pepe is one of the Team Orthopaedic Surgeons for the Philadelphia Eagles, as well as Stockton College. He is active in clinical research and has authored numerous peer reviewed articles and book chapters.
