Biography: W. Zachary Chancellor, MD, is a board-certified cardiothoracic surgeon with Cardiothoracic Surgical Associates in Richmond, Virginia. Dr. Chancellor earned his Doctor of Medicine from University of Mississippi School of Medicine in Jackson, Mississippi. He then went on to complete a general surgery residency and cardiothoracic surgery fellowship with University of Virginia Health System. He also completed a postdoctoral research fellowship with University of Virginia.Dr. Chancellor is board-certified by the American Board of Surgery. He provides patients with surgical care for complex and common conditions of the heart, lungs, and chest. He is experienced in coronary artery bypass, management of aortic and mitral valve disease, and surgical management of atrial fibrillation.
