Biography: Dr. Erika Van Doorn is a board certified General and Critical Care Surgeon. She?comes to us from Texas after living there for 14 years.??She completed her general surgery residency and Surgical Critical care fellowship in Houston at Baylor College of Medicine. After her training, she worked at several facilities in Texas with Envision but her primary site of work was at Medical city Plano, in Plano Texas (Level 1 trauma center). ?In 2019 she moved to Florida where has worked at HCA Florida Bayonet Point Hospital. Since 2013, she has been busy working in level 1 and level 2 trauma centers as trauma, acute care and surgical critical care surgeon.??She also worked closely with the trauma director and coordinators to help with the level 1 designation at Medical City Plano.?In September of 2020 she took the role of trauma Medical Director at HCA Florida Bayonet Point Hospital where she was able to stabilize the program and successfully passed American College of Medicine level 2 consultative visit.

Biography: Mohamed Nagi, MD, is a board-certified vascular surgeon. He received his medical degree and his master's degree in general surgery from Ain Shams University in Egypt, where he also completed a general surgery residency. Dr. Nagi completed his training with a residency at the University of Central Florida and a vascular surgery fellowship at Rush University Medical Center. An expert vascular surgeon, Dr. Nagi specializes in several surgical and endovascular procedures such as aortic aneurysm, carotid stenosis, peripheral artery disease and hemodialysis access. He is fluent in both English and Arabic.
