Care Philosophy: "Treating the patient, not just the disease" Treating a patient's spirit and dignity goes hand-in-hand with treating the illness. As physicians, we need to foster the patients' inner strength and courage to prevail the feelings of sadness and hopelessness. The drugs that are available to treat the disease are relatively standard across the country, but in treating the patient, we all have to break the mold of how we were taught and learn that the patient comes first. Integrative Medicine!

Care Philosophy: My approach to patient care is to consider the entire patient, and not just his or her disease. I try to understand everything about the patient, their social, cultural, education, and family history, in addition to their medical history, and the disease for which they have been referred to me for treatment. This global approach to the patient gives me the proper and total context to help me deliver the very best care I can.
