Biography: I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and a graduate of Cambridge College, where I earned my M.Ed. in Mental Health Counseling and Marriage & Family Therapy in 2002. Since then, I've worked in a variety of clinical settings, including private practice providing individual and couples counseling, as well as serving as a crisis clinician in the Emergency Department. I have also worked as an adjunct faculty member at both community colleges and four-year institutions in the Boston area, teaching undergraduate courses in Psychology and Human Services, including Crisis Intervention, Counseling Practice and Policy, Research Methods, and Psychology of Personality. I generally become deeply vested in the mental health and overall well-being of my clients. My therapeutic approach is solution-focused, and I strive to create a space where clients feel safe to open up, share their thoughts and feelings, and work collaboratively toward practical, meaningful goals. Biography: My name is Faith Sanders. I am a licensed mental health counselor with over 10 years of experience in the field of psychology and mental health. I started my career as an addictions researcher at the University at Buffalo. After about 4 years, I decided I was destined to connect to people through clinical practice. I have specialties in Mindfulness, Trauma-informed care, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I provide a space free of judgment and I hope to lead you to a healthier connection with yourself. My approach is very goal-directed, but also gentle in being present with and working through difficult emotions that prohibit personal growth.
